Slab Siding and Trim

Slab siding is the naturally contoured outer cut of a log, which is then edged to uniform widths. Slab is available in several species and with the bark either left on and intact or peeled by hand or with a drawknife.

Typical applications:

Generally the slabs range in thickness from 1 1/2" to 2 1/2" and are available in widths from 4" - 8". The rustic beauty of this product lies in the visual reality that no two pieces are exactly alike. The naturally occurring character of each log is revealed in the radius of its unique surface contours. When slabs are then applied adjacent to each other the result has a striking three-dimensional quality.

Generally available in Cedar, Pine, Hemlock and Spruce/Fir.
